To enhance creativity, imagination and build confidence; a Fancy Dress Competition was organised by our school. The programme began with Principal Mrs. Sonia Datta welcoming the distinguished guests." All classes were given various themes and the children excitedly participated in huge numbers and showcased their versatility in an array of glittering costumes doing a fashion ramp walk and mouthing famous dialogues and slogans, leaving the audience enthralled. They presented themselves by sharing information about the characters they depicted and looked vibrant in their colorful costumes and played their parts confidently. What matters most in such events is not winning or losing, but participation. The objective of the competition was met as the students learnt about many important themes. The fancy dress competition was followed by a small cultural programme which was enjoyed by one and all. The judges appreciated efforts by all the participants and later winners were awarded prizes. In the end, everybody was served refreshments and the day ended on a happy note for all.
